01What Wex & Counsel does
Wex & Counsel is an alternative legal services provider. We supply legal support, alternative legal services and managed legal services — research, contract work, litigation support, document review, due diligence, regulatory analysis and legal operations — to law firms, in-house legal teams and businesses. Our clients’ lawyers retain strategic judgment, advocacy and professional responsibility for their matters; we provide the structured capability behind that work.
02Regulated legal services
The services described on this website are legal support and managed services. They are not offered as regulated legal representation or reserved legal activities, and Wex & Counsel does not hold itself out on this website as a regulated law firm in any jurisdiction. Where work requires professional legal judgment, a reserved activity, representation before a court or tribunal, or locally regulated practice, it is performed by or under the supervision of appropriately authorised professionals — the client’s own, or arrangements agreed in the engagement. The services available to you may depend on your jurisdiction, the engagement structure, professional supervision and applicable regulation.
03Information, not advice
Material on this website — including Wex & Counsel Insights — is general information as at the date shown. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be treated as such. Decisions about a specific matter should be taken with advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
04Contacting us
Visiting this website, contacting Wex & Counsel or submitting an enquiry does not by itself create a lawyer–client, solicitor–client or other professional relationship, and does not mean we have accepted a matter. An engagement is established only by written terms agreed between Wex & Counsel and the client, following any suitability or conflict review we consider appropriate.
05Confidential material
Please do not send confidential, privileged or sensitive material through an initial public enquiry. Before confidential matter material is exchanged, we establish an appropriate process — typically a confidentiality agreement and an agreed secure channel — as part of onboarding. This protects you as much as it protects us.
06Third-party legal news
Global Legal Intelligence displays headlines from courts, regulators, governments and publishers with a link to each original source. That content remains the property of, and is attributable to, its publishers. It is provided for awareness, is not verified or endorsed by Wex & Counsel, and is not legal advice.
